The Norrbotten Chamber of Commerce is a prominent voice in shaping the future of infrastructure in northern Sweden. We influence decision-makers to ensure that public investments keep pace with the region’s rapid industrial growth—a growth currently held back by neglected and under-dimensioned infrastructure.
We advocate for critical initiatives such as the Norrbotniabanan railway, increased capacity on the Malmbanan line, a resilient energy system, expanded housing development, improved air and sea connections, and a more efficient and integrated transport network.
Conference: Logistikdag Norr
Logistikdag Norr brings together about 300 participants to jointly discuss northern Sweden’s conditions, opportunities, and needs to achieve a sustainable transition and what is required to create continued growth in the region. We highlight good examples from the business community and discuss the role of decision-makers in enabling societal development & infrastructure that support business investments. The day is held in Swedish.
Norrbotten Chamber of Commerce Logistics Council brings together logistics managers from 13 of the county’s most transport-intensive companies, all with high demands for efficient freight transport.
The council’s purpose is to strengthen logistics across the Norrbotten region. The council advocates for shared priorities, shapes public opinion, and engages in dialogue with decision-makers and authorities to improve conditions for infrastructure, transport, and logistics.
